About Us

Love of the OT Profession and Innovation

The OT Link was founded by three occupational therapists, friends and long-standing colleagues with a shared passion for teaching, learning and evidence-based practice. What began as an idea to make relevant, high-quality continuing professional development more accessible has grown into an online learning platform and professional community supporting occupational therapists across South Africa and beyond.

At the heart of The OT Link is a simple belief: learning should strengthen what happens in practice. We bring together experienced clinicians, academics and other experts to translate current evidence into practical, engaging learning that supports clinical reasoning, ethical practice and professional confidence. Our courses are designed with the realities of everyday OT practice in mind — across fields of practice, career stages and geographical settings.

Linking evidence to practice to transform rehabilitation

Although the way we learn has changed, our purpose has remained constant: to create meaningful connections between evidence and practice, between therapists and experts, and between occupational therapists themselves.

The OT Link continues to evolve in response to the profession, while remaining grounded in the values on which it began — collaboration, curiosity, quality and a genuine commitment to strengthening occupational therapy.
