Objectives of this course
On completion of this CPD activity, the participant will be able to:
- Describe the role and processes of occupational therapists in the vocational rehabilitation (VR) of mental health service users (MHSUs) with chronic mental illness.
- Define the concept and categorisation of VR interventions offered by occupational therapists.
- Identify and discuss institution-based VR intervention types, principles, strategies, and outcomes for MHSUs with chronic mental illness.
- Discuss the implications of the study findings for research and occupational therapy practice.
